Workshop Overview:
Soul Shop for Campus Ministry is a one-day workshop designed to equip campus ministry leaders, student leaders, young adult pastors, and others who work with young adults to effectively minister to those impacted by suicide. The workshop will place special emphasis on young adult-specific issues, including alcohol use and abuse, independence and autonomy, mental illness, sexuality, and social media.

Participants will engage in creating worship resources, receiving training in suicide awareness and basic conversation skills, and learning how to extend invitations to individuals who have experienced suicidal thoughts to share their stories. The workshop will also address how to cultivate a soul-safe culture within campus or young adult ministries.
